With these chains I'm held behind Looking up to the forbidden sky With eyes wide open yet forcefully blind This was for an exhibit our school org (LUNAROCK) held last year. The theme: self representation in cartoon or comic form. Don't take the illustration literally. Everything in it has a meaning. I'll leave it to you guys to figure it out. 12"x18" bristol board. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
